Yo. Ghost Ghost is very thankful to everyone who came out to the Mud show Monday night (4/21/2008). Thank you to Steve Carroll http://www.myspace.com/stevecarroll , Laura Gould http://www.myspace.com/lauragould , and The Chavos for sharing the bill. Also, thank you Dana for putting together and promoting the Naked series at Mud. It's a really special experience and I would encourage any fans or bands to check it out on Monday nights at Mud in the East Village. Also in the audience that night the following NYC performers and bands: Aileen Morgan http://www.myspace.com/aileen morgan , all of the members of Ninth Street Mission http://www.ninthstreetmission (including Adam Chimera http://www.myspace.com/adamchimera ) and Jason Misrahi http://www.myspace.com/jasonmisrahi . Also well represented was the Lower East Side's newest coffee shop: Roasting Plant. Damn tasty coffee -- check it out.
On Tuesday (4/22) we were glad to get back to our electric instruments at the rehearsal space and bust out some Ghost Ghost. Arranging acoustic versions of our songs for Mud was a great experience, but when all is said and done, we're happy to turn back up.
On Wednesday night (4/23) we met our neighbors at Rivington Music Rehearsal Spaces, And the Revellers Fell http://www.myspace.com/andtherevellersfell . It's a great name (read your Edgar Allen Poe), and we're looking forward to seeing them play sometime soon.
On Thursday night (4/24)Ghost Ghost went to check out The Bright Lights http://www.myspace.com/spynovel at Cake Shop http://www.myspace.com/cakeshopnyc a kicking venue on the Lower East side. It was a loud show and those guys rocked it.
On Friday night (4/25) we saw Aileen Morgan http://www.myspace.com/aileenmorgan at The Duplex. Aileen is a beautiful singer songwriter from New York, with a captivating voice. Check her out.
