I chose the name of my avatar in tribute to the original notorious and deceased lower east side scenester personality Rockets Redglare. I never knew the real Rockets but we share a close friend in common and many acquaintances.
As for the personality behind the avatar... I've been in NYC for nearly a decade and have lived, worked, played, performed, dj'd, thrown parties in the rLES. I work in the unglamorous side of the fashion industry but my passionate interest is music but it expands to visual art and film, from the conventional to experimental and the absurd.
