so my "name" is "oliver" and i live in brooklyn. williamsburg to be exact. i spent my childhood on the upper east side of manhattan, my high school years in new jersey, and my college years in the woods of upstate new york at a school called bard. the bard years were filled with going to shows in old gyms and defunct garages listening to electronic music, rock and psych-folk bands. i lived in budapest for a bit, going to shows in the cellars of war-damaged 18th century buildings listening to old men with violins and young guys with keyboards. i work for a fashion photographer on the lower east side. on set someone is bound to put on some type of fashion music. by fashion music i mean exactly what you think i mean. i just got back from a brief break in marrakesh where i listened to the rhythmic call to prayer sound throughout the city five times a day and traveling groups from throughout the sahara play in the square.
