I am a NYC based artist and photographer. I am from Memphis, Tn, but have lived in the city for over 10 yrs. I'm REALLY into music....I've played in my share of groups, bands, and jam sessions. I collect records and get super obsessed over a new album weekly.
Right now I'm really into the ethiopian composer, Tsegue Maryam Guebrou, Bouboucar Traore, Soft machine, John Cale, Candi Staton, Freddie Fender ....always will love Elvis, Skynyrd, and the blues and as far as hot off the presses, new stuff, I'm loving Dax Riggs, the new Witch album, and Awesome Color.
Additionally, I have a NY based consulting company, Wildcat, with "Alexis". Our story begins in the city as two girls who liked throwing parties in very unusual spaces and venues....the weirder the better and always as authentic and true to the mixed up, crazy vibes of the city as possible. We've been on this adventure since 2003 and have found ourselves producing events in the back of travel agencies with smoke machines and bullet proof glass, organizing auctions at fancy locales like Phillips de Pury and Christies, and booking talent as varied as Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Dead Meadow, Feathers, Cass McCombs, Interpol, Becky Stark,
Ol'Dirty Bastard (RIP), and more....Let the good times Roll!
