Sseems like Metal has had a lot more influence than some peole want to think. I hear it in everything. Even in stuff that is meant to be low key. I hear a lot of Mick Ronson and T Rex, too. Check out my new favorite band from Norway 120. They are spectacular and original, bringing new sounds to the table.

So, it would seem that for the most part there is exceedingly high quality talent in the music world these days. And, wow, if the internet hadn't come along we wouldn't know about it. The best thing to ever happen to music is the internet and vLES. I am so psyched on this site. We can all find what we want when we want, and almost how we want. Extraordinary moment in time to be alive.
